1. My sweet Rhem has been talking all weekend about her birthday week that starts tomorrow. I cannot believe she is turning three already.
2. Miss Hadiley has gotten AWESOME at signing and saying “Eeeeeese” (please); she signed please about 10 times (and clapped for herself after each time) for this single piece of cheese. She cracks me up.
3. Baby #3. Sweet baby boy is 22 weeks today.

The other day I had an unexpected day off, so I took the girls out for donuts, trift store shopping, and a play date at the park. Hadiley is such a busy, curious, tough girl. She just wanted to run around and see EVERYTHING and boy, did she fall A LOT, but no tears. Rhemidy, of course, cried if a kid accidentally brushed against her on the way up the steps. (She is so much like me. hahaha) I love being able to just go and do things and look forward to the day when I no longer am doing daycare, and can take the kids out to explore whenever we feel inclined too! I am very excited that the weather is FINALLY starting to warm up, unfortunately it is spring here in the midwest, which means lots of rain is coming, but soon we will have warm and sunny days. We are ready to be out and burning off all this energy that has been bottled up since the first snow in OCTOBER. It has been a long 5 months.

This weekend was another nice weekend, so we had more park time, a little shopping for the house and boy, and PJ and I even had a date night! (which ended at a batting cage, which I have not hit a ball in a v.e.r.y. long time, so the first few pitches I was extremely stiff, but I did end up hitting a few, but I definitely felt it the next morning. My back and arms are killing me! haha)

IMG_6029IMG_5974IMG_6012  1. Rhemidy is ALWAYS singing. Usually it is a combination of “Let it Go” and just made up words and things about her day. I love it.
2. We have balloons from the big reveal, and you can find Hadiley playing when them from the time she wakes up, until she goes to sleep. (the only time she doesn’t have them, is when she is eating. Girl loves to eat.)
3. Baby BOY. 20 weeks. 3 days. He is moving around a lot more, and we are still working on finding the perfect name for him. Finding his name seems to be more work than it was with both girls. But, we have 20 whole weeks to decide. 🙂

1. Rhemidy was ignoring me outside and kept running from the camera with a smirk on her face.
2. Hadiley is in love with outside. If I let her, she would spend all day out there, even though it hasn’t even hit the 40’s yet today.
3. Baby 3. 19 weeks, 2 days. (we find out gender in 5 days! 🙂 )

1.Hadiley’s favorite spot in the house is the bench daddy built underneath the window.
2. Rhemi loves setting up the mats for nap time, and the blankets MUST BE PERFECT. 🙂
3. Baby #3. 18 weeks, 2 days.

(Pictures were taken yesterday, I just forgot to post them. oops 🙂 )

First Birthday

Well earlier this month, my sweet little baby turned a year old. Wow time sure has flown by. We celebrated with some close friends and family, who blessed us with new clothes and books and toys. Her party theme was cupcakes and tea party. She had a wonderful time, although she was glued to mom for most of it!

A year old, and miss Hadiley can…
Walk like a champ.
Say “Mama” “Dada” “Dat?” “Daa!” (dog)
She waves goodbye.
She signs “please.”
She gives high fives.
She claps.
She dances.
She climbs up AND down the stairs.
She climbs on EVERYTHING.
She gives Mom, Dad, and Sister sloppy, mouth open, tongue out, kisses on our noses. (strange girl. lol)
She has 8 teeth.
She eats EVERYTHING and has no food allergies! (Thank you God!)
The first two months of breastfeeding were definitely hard, as has the last 3 months, seeing that I am pregnant. but we made it and I am so proud. Now I am trying to wean, due to it being painful while being pregnant, but that isn’t going so well lol We will have one day where she only nurses once, and then we will have days she wants to nurse every 2 hours :/ But we will get there! 🙂

I’m still here!

I feel as if I haven’t updated in a year! (but really it has only been 2 months)

So much has been going on, with holidays, family in town, working on the house, and chasing around two crazy kids. Well Much exciting things to announce. So let’s get to it. 🙂

First: My sweet BABY Hadiley turned 1 this month. (yes, my BABY turned ONE!) Last year seemed to fly bye! (Although her first week of life spent in the NICU seemed to last f.o.r.e.v.e.r.)

At a year old, she walks (RUNS!) everywhere. She says Da (Dad), Mama, and Dat (asking, “What’s that?” as she points at everything). She wears 18 months clothes already and weighs 25 pounds. Her hair is now a light brown and her eyes are still a beautiful blue. She finally drinks out of a sippy, and has no allergies so far! (although she isn’t as obsessed with peanut butter as the rest of her family is…weirdo.) Her birthday also marked a YEAR or Breastfeeding! yay! I am very proud of myself for this!

In other news,

That’s right, we will be adding another arrow to our family in August 🙂 I am 14 weeks (yesterday) so hopefully we will find out what we are having in April! (although, this time around I was actually going to allow it to be a secret, but husband says no, he NEEDS to know lol) We are very excited, as is Rhemidy. Hoping Hadiley is as excepting of a little brother/sister as Rhemi was of her! 🙂

Well that is all for today, I have 4 crazy kids that are getting hungry for lunch!

An exhausted mom and a slow computer.

Okay, I promise I have not forgotten about you all. I have actually gone to written a few new entries, and halfway through I get distracted and never end up publishing them. Last week I had a new kid to watch, and she WORE ME OUT. Being new, she was very clingy and would scream whenever I left the room, this took a tole on our kids as well. Seeing as when the weekend finally arrived, Rhem turned into a monster who wanted attention at all moments of the day, and if she was told to wait, she would SCREAM like never before. Things are finally starting to get back to normal, however, Hadiley is now sick. Blah. I need a nap… or five.

Any ways, on a happier (?) note, Hadiley is now 10 months old. How did 10 months pass already?! How is it December 2013 already!?!? Ahh.

Well my sweet 10 month old daughter is growing like crazy. She is 25 pounds already, (at 10 months, Rhemidy is two years older and only 5 pounds heavier! ha!) She can walk, she can say Mama and Dada, She waves hello and goodbye, She gives High-fives, She claps, She climbs stairs and onto chairs, and She LOVES to dance. She is such a joy and I cannot imagine life without this amazing love bug.

Rhemidy is so in love with Hadiley as well. I could not have dreamed of Rhemi being so amazing with her. She often times refers to Hadi as her “Sweetheart” and claps every time Hadiley does something (even if she has been doing it for months) and loves to help her with anything she needs. Every day I look at Rhemidy, I am amazed a how old she seems. She is so smart and has the best heart. She, of course, has her moments where I want to pull my hair out, but then she gives me that silly little smile and says, “I lub you mommy! You are so PEWtiful!” (beautiful)
Clearly I am blessed beyond what I could have ever imagined. Thank you God for two, beautiful, sweet, amazing, and healthy (besides Hadi’s cold) girls. 🙂IMG_2559

Love. & Merry Christmas

New tricks

Well, my 9 month old has started to walk. Yesterday I was watching her run around the house, pushing a baby doll stroller, when suddenly she stoped and pushed the stroller a few feet in front of her. She then looked at me, smiled, then walked by herself to get the stroller. I sat there watching with a flood of emotions wiping over me. Excitement. Joy. Pride. Followed by some sadness in the fact she is growing so fast. Don’t get me wrong, I am so excited to see her grow and become a little lady like Rhem and watch them interact even more together. However, I still want my sweet, little cuddle baby. I’m not ready to have TWO toddlers. 🙂

My 24 day challenge with Advocare is going great. I am at day 16 and have lost 10-12 pounds. Clothes are fitting MUCH better, and I am feeling a lot better and have more energy! The first 12 days, I honestly didn’t work out as much as I had planned. (ok, like at all… I think in 12 days I worked out a total of 3 or 4 days? oops. lol) I have started to work out more, and more intense. I love seeing that I am weighing less, but I still have a lot of things to slim down and tone up. The hardest part for me was the fiber drink. Gag. Literally. I am very happy that I am on phase two and do not even have to look at that horrible drink. 🙂 (I do have to say that the fiber drink and pro-biotic did help tremendously in making me feel much better and “regular”…tmi?) Ha. I am excited to continue to do this challenge, and definitely know a lot of this product will stay in my every day life after the 24 days.

My sweet, sweet Rhem. She amazes me everyday. With her passion to learn, and her very sweet, tender heart. While, she can be a handful at times, I already can see that she is going to do amazing things when she gets older. She, of course, has her moments of not playing nice with other kids, but most of the time she is very observant and gets flustered when people are left out or are upset. She is my little noticer. She pays close attention to everything and very brave for her age. She loves to venture around, even in dark rooms and by herself. She reminds me so much of myself. Very sensitive and unable to control our emotions. Loves to explore and takes in everything around her. I remember the first time I notice her shopping in the fabric store with me and she had to feel every piece of fabric we passed. I do this. Rather it is a fabric store, shopping for clothes, or walking around a new place I have never been. I have to have my hand out so I can feel every. little. thing. Often times I am not even looking at the things directly next to me, My eyes are searching all over the place, but my hands continue to touch everything I pass, and if is especially soft or “different” I will stop and look it over. I am so excited to watch her grow and see the young lady she will become. I know most people dread the teenage years, the emotions, the hormones, the attitudes, and I understand that all. I mean,  5 years ago, I was still a teenager. However, I think kids can be taught to love, and not get sucked up in what this world is “expecting” of us. I no way was a perfect kid, I made mistakes, sometimes I made the same mistake a few times. However, I did beat the statistics. My mom was a teen mom. I was not. My dad is in prison. I have never been in trouble with the law. I didn’t drink or have sex in highschool. I am not naieve. I do know there will be days where I will probably want to rip my hair out, or get extremely frustrated. But I chose to believe, that my girls will respect theselves and not believe all the lies of this world and fall into this belief that “the bible is old” and “things are different” and as long as you are a nice person, salvation is yours. (and of course I know that I cannot just believe that they will turn out that way, it takes me teaching them, and showing them how to love each other and themselves. And I pray that I am able to do that.)

Alright, I must go.
