Wait, only 9 more days?

until my due date that is. Crazy. I am so excited to welcome our first boy with in the next couple weeks. I cannot believe today is already August 1st! Where has time gone? Really! How do I now have a 3 year old child AND an 18 month old child AND soon to be newborn? I feel like just a year or two ago I was still in highschool dating PJ, but here we are, 7 years has passed. 4 years of marriage. and soon, very very soon, three kids. We have definitely been blessed.

Rhemidy is growing more and more excited, constantly asking WHEN her brother will be here so she can hold him. I already know, seeing how she treats her little sister, she will be an AWESOME big sister to baby boy as well. Hadiley, on the other hand, will be up for a rude awakening. She does seem to love babies, and likes to help me whenever I am watching a baby, but she still NEEDS to have me lay with her to sleep and will not go to anyone else. (The other night PJ tried to get her to sleep and she screamed to the point of making herself throw up, a thing Rhem use to do, and it took me until MIDNIGHT to calm her down and get her to sleep. Bah. I created a monster! πŸ˜‰ ) I know after a couple months Hadiley will adjust and be an awesome big sister just like Rhem. (although she really needs to start learning this whole gentle and sharing thing…)

(For those NOT fasinated by pregnancy/birth related things and what it does to your body, the rest of this may be TMI lol)
Anyways, I had my midwife appointment yesterday, I am only 1cm dilated, 50% effaced. My cervix is already extremely soft and stretchy so that is good, and he is head down but seems to have moved up higher. Stinker. With my cervix being soft, they said once he decides to drop things should start up right away. I really am prepared and totally fine with going past the EDD (seeing as it is what it says, and ESTIMATED due date) and I want this baby to come when he is ready, and I will not force him with an induction, but boy, I am SO ready to meet and love on him! I am hoping I get to see him sooner than later, but with only 9 days until my due date I know it won’t be much longer.

37 weeks!

FULL TERM. WOOT!

Sunday marked 37 weeks. Ahh baby will be here SO soon. We are (almost) ready for his arrival. When we bought our house, the previous owners had opened up a wall of the first bedroom on the main floor so that it was open to the living room, and making it a play room for the kids (The lady bought the house to use as a daycare) and the second bedroom had an awkward closet and a door that was old and missing a door knob. So our bedroom/ the girls bedroom was in the upstairs, which was a finished attic that has horrible air/heat. So in prepartion for this baby, and to help us when we go to sell this house, my husband has been getting the 1st bedroom back into a bedroom (putting a wall back up, and getting a door, as well as lots of other work) and redoing the closet and replacing the door in the second bedroom (as well as painting and fixing the ceiling that was damaged from some water).

ANYWAYS. So far the 1st bedroom (which will be the Hubby and I’s bedroom as well as the nursery) has the crown molding up, walls painted, door fitted, and wood floors sanded and polyed. Today after work he plans to trim the door, take the door itself back down so he can sand and paint it (we got an awesome vintage door), and put up the baseboard. If he gets all the done today, all that will be left is covering the nail holes on the trim/ baseboard/ crown molding. THEN WE CAN MOVE EVERYTHING IN! I cannot wait to decorate our bedroom and nursery. I have almost everything, we just need some curtain rods, and a different mattress for the crib, and some sheets. The 2nd bedroom still as a bit of work. (This will be the girls room) My husband re drywalled the ceiling and the closet, as well as opening the closet up so it is easier to access. We are waiting for a coworker of my husbands to come and mudd the ceiling and closet, then we can paint! After painting we have a ceiling fan to instal and we can move the girls beds and decor in! Hoping by (not this but) next weekend to have both rooms completely done!

Boy’s bag is completely packed. Carseat is ready to go. My bag is pretty much completely packed. (All that is missing is extra comfy clothes that I will throw in before we leave to the hospital, as well as my makeup) I still need to pack a little bag for the girls with books and their “gifts from brother” so they have something to do at the hospital when they visit.

Ahh. I am just so excited to finally meet this little guy! I cannot wait to smell him, and cuddle him, and see WHO HE LOOKS LIKE. My prediction (okay, really my hope) is for dark, dark hair and green eyes! (Really, because we already have a blondie and a brunette, and one with blue eyes and one with brown eyes. lol) I am thinking he will probably wait to bless us with his presence until after his due date, simply for the fact his sisters were stubborn so I figure he will be too, but I do have an appointment on Thursday so we will see what they think. πŸ™‚ I feel he is still pretty high up, but 3 weeks ago they sad his head was already pretty low down, so I have no idea. πŸ™‚

36 weeks

_MG_9851 _MG_9854 _MG_9856 _MG_9858 IMG_9861IMG_9878

This past weekend marked 36 weeks. Only 4 more weeks until my EDD. πŸ˜€

My friend (and our kids Godmom) threw me a little babyshower for our newest little arrow. I got some adorable clothes for the baby boy, along with some baby basics. I also ordered our mini crib which should be here in a few days! I am so excited, and so thankful for everyone who has been helping us get ready to welcome baby boy. Yesterday the hubby and I put the final coat of paint in our new room/nursery. Today he plans to get the trim up. We are hoping by this weekend everything will be done and ready to move all our stuff in. And Hopefully next week the girls room will be done to move all their things in.

At 36 weeks, we have boy’s bag packed, my bag partially packed, and most of the things we need ordered. I have been having TONS of braxton hicks, LOTS of presure, and I have gotten to the point that it sucks to pick things up off the floor! haha. I have an appointment this Thursday, and then I will have one every week until he decides to bless the world with his arrival. πŸ™‚

35 weeks.

I am still here! Just been busy as ever. The count down has really begun. This past weekend marked 35 weeks for baby and me. 5 more weeks to go before we become a family of FIVE! Crazy. So here is my 35 week (and 3 days) update. πŸ™‚

note:I have been wanting to do a pregnancy update, so last night, sans makeup and a shower, I decided to take some pictures. Ha.

35 weeks. Baby is the size of a Coconut (that seems small, but whatever you say thebump.com) measuring in around 17.2-18.7 inches and weighing around 4.2-5.8 pounds. During the day he isn’t all that active, obviously doing his 10 movements in an hour, however, it isn’t until I lay down to go to sleep that he suddenly has a dance party. ALL. NIGHT. LONG. But hey, I can’t sleep anyways, so might as well get some bonding time in with this little guy. πŸ˜‰

I have his bag packed, and this week I plan to start getting my bag packed as well as his car seat ready. The last couple days I have started to get really excited. I have been excited about a 3rd and our first boy since the moment I found out I was pregnant, but I am now getting to the, “OMGOODNESS. I AM HAVING A BOY. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HIM/SMELL HIM/LOVE ON HIM!!!!” phase. Luckily that chance will be here in a month!!! πŸ™‚

Rhem is also gettingΒ  excited. Telling everyone how her baby brother will be here soon and she gets to hold him and change his diapers πŸ™‚ Hadiley just wants to play the drums on my belly. Daddy is excited but also is stressing if he will get done painting and putting trim/base up in our bedrooms so we can move all our stuff into them before baby gets here. (which would be WONDERFUL if we were able to, but it won’t be the end of the world if it’s not finished until after the baby gets here.)

Oh sweet baby boy. You could not have a mommy or daddy or siblings more excited for your arrival than you already do. We cannot wait to see that sweet face of yours and see who you get your looks from. We already have so much love for you. See you in a few, short weeks. πŸ™‚

1. Rhem. My girly girl who insists on wearing a dress every. single. day. yet informs me she wants to be spiderman for Halloween and wants a little monster (what ever that means) birthday party next year. This girl is filled with surprises πŸ™‚
2. Hadiley has decided that she needs to sit ON the table for ALL of her meals -_-
3. Baby #3. Boy.Β  33 weeks. 4 days. Kicking champ. My belly is continuing to grow, how that is possible, I have no idea πŸ™‚ only 7 more weeks. I am so excited to love on this child.

1. Rhem loves being a big sister. This Sunday we attended a new church, and for the first time Rhem and Hadiley had to be put in different nursery. I was a bit worried how both would do, but after the morning at church, followed by the picnic/lunch with the congregation, Rhem got in the car and said, “Daddy, I made new friends today!” πŸ™‚ Does a mama’s heart good to see her girl being social and making new friends. Especially since in less than 2 months I will be done with daycare, at least for a while, so she no longer will be seeing her friends everyday that she has know her whole life thus far.

2. Hadiley seems like she might be more tom boy than Rhem. She loves to play Barbies, but her favorite is Ken. She loves to play dress up, but skips the dresses and goes straight for the batman cape. Whenever at a store the ONLY toy she wants is some kind of ball. I love the differences in their personalities, yet they are still best of friends. I pray they always are.

3. Baby #3. Boy. 32 weeks, 4 days. I feel HUGE. His favorite time to move is early in the morning and in the middle of the night. He seems to be growing great and healthy as can be. Cannot wait to meet you in less than 2 months!

**these pictures were taken on Thursday for my weekly update, buuuut I never found the time. So here it is, late. lol***”

30 weeks.

_MG_8031 _MG_8040 IMG_8020 IMG_8021

Today Baby boy is 30 weeks. 10 more weeks!!! He is the size of a cucumber. (15.2-16.7 inches in length, 2.5-3.8 pounds)

On Friday I went and had my second glucose blood test. I am expecting it to come back negative, since I had negative result with both girls, and my first test at 22 weeks was negative with this pregnancy, but they insisted I take two, since I have big babies. My next appointment is this upcoming Friday, which will just check my blood pressure, and babies heart beat. I am so excited we are in the final 10 weeks of pregnancy. I cannot wait to meet this little guy!

This weekend I was able to find this awesome dresser/changing table for the boy (for only $20!), and got the top drawer filled with all his pocket and prefold diapers πŸ™‚ Next I will be placing all his adorable little clothes in. πŸ™‚

Next weekend we will be getting family pictures and maternity pictures done! I am so excited. Our last family pictures were when I was pregnant with Rhem, so it will be good to have some with both girls haha. This week is also the hubs birthday. So we have a busy, but fun, week ahead of us. πŸ™‚

1. Rhem woke up very happy today, knowing that after 2 weeks that seemed like months, daddy is home. And he brought her new Army pajamas.
2. Hadiley also got new pajamas, she also seems to think that brothers car seat is a toy for her…
3. Baby #3. Boy. 29 weeks. 5 days. Feeling pretty awesome, just outrageously tired all. the. time.

29 weeks

Today baby boy is 29 weeks. 11 more weeks to go! He is about the size of an acorn squash in my belly. (15.2-16.7 inches in length, 2.5-3.8 pounds)

Last check up was on Friday, His heart rate was 150. He is my little ninja baby, constantly on the move. Big Sis Rhem is getting very excited for his arrival, constantly asking when baby brother will be here, and informing me she really wants to hold him. πŸ™‚ Big Sis Hadiley likes to play the drums on my belly, points and says “baby,” and likes to smell my belly. (She saw Rhem kiss it, and she thought she was sniffing it, so now Hadiley smells it and cracks up laughing.)

So far I have his diaper bag prepared, washed all the cloth diapers last night, and have been looking up ideas for newborn pictures. Still wanting to get a mini crib for him (we currently have our bedroom in the upstairs, fitting our king size bed, with our regular size crib side carted. However we are finishing up the house and plan to move our bedroom downstairs in before he gets here and the bedroom down stairs is a LOT smaller and we would not be able to fit a regular crib AND our king size bed in there, especially add in a dresser and rocking chair) and we either need to get our old car seat out of the garage and get it cleaned up, or look into buying a new car seat. I will wait another 6 weeks before I start packing my hospital bag.

So far this pregnancy has been fantastic. Very little morning sickness, I get heartburn, but not every day like with Hadiley. I had bad headaches the first two trimesters, but none so far in the third.

I am so excited to meet you, baby boy! Just 2 more months and a week or two. πŸ™‚
