36 weeks

This past weekend marked 36 weeks. Only 4 more weeks until my EDD. πŸ˜€

My friend (and our kids Godmom) threw me a little babyshower for our newest little arrow. I got some adorable clothes for the baby boy, along with some baby basics. I also ordered our mini crib which should be here in a few days! I am so excited, and so thankful for everyone who has been helping us get ready to welcome baby boy. Yesterday the hubby and I put the final coat of paint in our new room/nursery. Today he plans to get the trim up. We are hoping by this weekend everything will be done and ready to move all our stuff in. And Hopefully next week the girls room will be done to move all their things in.

At 36 weeks, we have boy’s bag packed, my bag partially packed, and most of the things we need ordered. I have been having TONS of braxton hicks, LOTS of presure, and I have gotten to the point that it sucks to pick things up off the floor! haha. I have an appointment this Thursday, and then I will have one every week until he decides to bless the world with his arrival. πŸ™‚

A baby Boy

I still am in disbelief that we are having a BOY. I am very excited, and cannot wait to meet him and see what/who he looks like. I have been starting to get things prepared for him, even though we have quite a bit of time until he makes his entrance into the world. The hardest thing thus far is picking out the perfect name. But I am sure it will come to us by the time he arrives. πŸ™‚

1. Rhemidy was ignoring me outside and kept running from the camera with a smirk on her face.
2. Hadiley is in love with outside. If I let her, she would spend all day out there, even though it hasn’t even hit the 40’s yet today.
3. Baby 3. 19 weeks, 2 days. (we find out gender in 5 days! πŸ™‚ )

First Birthday

Well earlier this month, my sweet little baby turned a year old. Wow time sure has flown by. We celebrated with some close friends and family, who blessed us with new clothes and books and toys. Her party theme was cupcakes and tea party. She had a wonderful time, although she was glued to mom for most of it!

A year old, and miss Hadiley can…
Walk like a champ.
Say “Mama” “Dada” “Dat?” “Daa!” (dog)
She waves goodbye.
She signs “please.”
She gives high fives.
She claps.
She dances.
She climbs up AND down the stairs.
She climbs on EVERYTHING.
She gives Mom, Dad, and Sister sloppy, mouth open, tongue out, kisses on our noses. (strange girl. lol)
She has 8 teeth.
She eats EVERYTHING and has no food allergies! (Thank you God!)
and…
WE MADE IT TO A YEAR OF BREASTFEEDING.
The first two months of breastfeeding were definitely hard, as has the last 3 months, seeing that I am pregnant. but we made it and I am so proud. Now I am trying to wean, due to it being painful while being pregnant, but that isn’t going so well lol We will have one day where she only nurses once, and then we will have days she wants to nurse every 2 hours :/ But we will get there! πŸ™‚

Oh hey there

I am still around. Unfortunately our wifi is currently down, and with our office room under construction, being on the internet is a rare occurrence in this house currently, which has obviously restricted me from updating. (while I type this, standing, in the corner of the kitchen, I hear little Hads fussing, so this shall be short and sweet.)

Not to much to update one. Summer and Thunderstorms have rolled our way. Rhem is loving spending as much time as possible outside, and Hadi seems to love just laying on a blanket in the shade. She (Hadi) now rolls all around. She constantly is reaching for toys to play with and loves to jump. Rhemidy seems she has aged into an older child. She is so helpful, becoming rather polite, and starting to memorize more and more songs! (and she LOVES to sing to us.)

4 months.

Hadi turned 4 months last week. I cannot believe how big she is getting already, time is flying bye. She can roll over, she reaches and plays with toys, she loves to blow raspberries, (my husband and I were just talking about this, what do you call it when close your lips and blow, making a duck/fart type sound? Often times on kids bellys or face that tickles and makes them laugh? I remember my aunt calling them Raspberries so that’s what I refer to them as, but I have heard a few different names, as well as people (read:my husband) say he has never used a name for it), She laughs and smiles constantly, she sleeps awesome during the night, she LOVES baths & showers with mom, she loves to be worn in a sling, just LOVES her jumperroo, and Likes to sit in her bumbo or bouncer and watch the kiddos play. Her eyes are still very blue/grey. Her hair is a light brown. Her skin is pale white. (haha)

Here are the extras from her 4 month picture. (each month I take her picture next to a big elephant to mark her growth, I did the same for her big sis Rhem πŸ™‚ )

Happy 4 months, beautiful!

2 months (Hadi)

Hadiley is 2 months old today. Her eyes are still a gorgeous blue, and her skin is like porcelain. (I know, I also do not believe she came from me! haha) She spends her day cooing, smiling, nursing, and snuggling. She doesn’t take very many or very long naps during the day, but gets a good 6-7 hours of sleep at night, feeds, then sleeps for an additional 3-4 hours before getting up for the day. She loves to sit up and look around at the world, and she is now starting to reach at toys that dangle from her bouncer. She is such an easy baby, and I love her to pieces! Happy 2 months little miss Hadi!

1.Teaching Rhem how to separate her colors as well as learn which color is which. So far she has yellow, pink, and blue down!
2. My happy Hadi on Easter Sunday. She is such a happy baby!
3.
My sweet little Rhem on Easter Sunday. Such an energetic, silly girl!
4. Little Miss Hadi is always wanting to suck on her fingers, and refuses to take a binkie! But goodness, she sure is adorable!

I am trying to get back in the rhythm of writing in here daily. I want to come up with a theme for each day… such as on Thursdays I will write a “fragments” entry that will have a few pictures, with a little description of things that have gone on so far in the week. As well as a list of things I am hoping to start accomplishing. I need more ideas of themes for the weeks. After reading over some blogs, I have seen one where they write each week about things that have brought smiles to their face in the middle of the chaos. I also think I will do a day a week where I post a recipe to a dinner or dessert I make. I need more ideas!

Things on my mind I am hoping to accomplish in the near future:
1. I would like to begin crafting items that I can turn around and sell. I just cannot decided if I want to do like hair accessories, scarfs, toddler dresses, blankets, little plush dolls, or what.
2. I want to get my Agape Ministries starting back up, and focusing on Ding Dong Giving, an organization that provides a laundry basket filled with items such as books, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and clothing items that are left on the porch of people in need with just a little note wishing them blessings. I want to make new (and improved) shirts supporting that organization.
3.I would love to start blogging more about parenting, crafting, fashion, or what have you, and find sponsors and hopefully collect an income on my blogging.
4. I would eventually love to do giveaways. Rather it be items that I create (refer to number 1), a free tshirt supporting Agape and/or Ding Dong Giving (refer to number 2), an item from a sponsor, or items that I come along that I think are awesome to help with baking/cooking/parenting/everyday life and want to share with you guys!

Finding a little time

I have come to find that it is hard to find any time. Between taking care of a newborn, who wants to be held CONSTANTLY (and isn’t a fan yet of the slings, and I have a few different types) and an almost 2 year old who yearns for momsΒ  attention, as well as two other toddlers that I watch, then throw in trying to feed and diaper them all, oh AND trying to keep up on sweeping, laundry, and dishes, you can imagine I have some very busy days. It seems every time I finally get the 3 toddlers to do something, baby Hadi wakes up ready to eat, or just hangout in moms arms. It’s hard to try to get time to upload my pictures, check my messages, and write on my blog. Every day I look rather gaudy, with my extremely messy hair, my mismatched, stained clothes, and lack of make up. But while people would sit here complaining, how they miss having their “me” time, I cannot help but smile. I love being a mom. I love being constantly busy with my two beautiful girls. This is definitely what I was made to do. Yes, I have my moments where I want to lock myself in a closet for just 5 minutes of peace and quiet, but those moments are rare. Those moments usually are due toΒ  trying to make lunch, while trying to separate two fighting toddlers, while trying to get Hadi to take a nap and stop screaming, while trying to explain to Rhemidy that she needs to share, while trying to get the dogs to stop whining. Ahh multitasking. Much more difficult when you have screaming children. πŸ™‚

Anyways, what has been going on in this crazy house? Well, Tomorrow my littlest turns 3 weeks. She has been doing pretty awesome. We are nursing GREAT. In fact, she now refuses a bottle, and only wants mom. πŸ™‚ We finally mastered the laying down position at night, which is awesome! (especially since her night nursing usually takes an hour, she likes to take her time at 4 in the morning. ahhh!) She has awesome awake time. She hates being on the floor on her belly, but LOVES laying on her belly on the boppy pillow. Her eyes are still a beautiful, dark blue. Her hair has lightened up a little more, to a light auburn brown.Β  We havn’t had a doctors appointment yet (it was suppose to be Friday, but we forgot, then got rescheduled for today, but due to the snow storm it was cancelled, so now we are looking at Thursday) so not sure how much she weighs, but she seems to be gaining away. She sure does like to eat a lot! Hadiley is also smiling ALL THE TIME. And every time I oooh and ahhh. She also is trying to coo back and mom. Most of the time it just sounds like grunts. πŸ˜€

Rhemidy seems older every day. Her words are growing, she is talking in more sentences, and we have entered the “I Wanted To Do Everything Myself” stage. Sometimes it is awesome, other times, not so much.Β  She always wants to walk at stores now (instead of riding in a buggy or stroller) and man, she is a slow walker. She also is a very distracted walker. But what do you expect from a toddler? Her birthday is a little over a month away, and I am so excited, and a little bit sad. My baby is turning two. Where has time gone? I have decided that this years theme will be Little Red Riding Hood… or as I put it, Little RHEM Riding Hood. πŸ™‚ (She was Little Red for halloween this last year, so I already have a cute little red cape I made her) I love looking up ideas for decorations and food, and am excited to start crafting! Rhem is just so perfect when it comes to being a big sister. She absolutely adores Hadiley already. She is constantly giving her kisses and talking to her, and is very protective of her sister. She needs to know where Hadi is at all times and what she is doing. It is a joy to watch. (as I type this, Rhem runs over to inform me that Hadiley is Nigh-Nigh in the swing.)

In over news, we got a new bed. A big, beautiful king size bed. A big, beautiful, king size, MEMORY FOAM bed. Oh it is so comfortable, and roomy, and wonderful. We also bought some new sheets and a new comforter for it, which of course now has us wanting to paint and re do the whole upstairs. πŸ˜€ (we still need to finish our bathroom and office room, oh and our hallway…)

In not fun news, we have been trying to allow our dogs more freedom, so we no longer have to kennel them. Well, they so far have ripped apart some towels, ate a whole in our wall near a door going outside, ate some base, tore apart a bag of stuffing from my sewing room, tore apart a ball of yarn, tore apart some tissue paper and gift bags, and got in the garbage. I hate dogs. I do not understand you dog people. I miss the laid backness of owning a cat.(although I love not having the litter box smell. cats smell. but are way better than dogs!)

Alright, well the baby is starting to wake up, and she will need some of mama’s milk! πŸ™‚
